Dreamy Editorial Rooftop Brand Photoshoot

If you follow me on socials you’ll already know how I feel about photographing Dr. Kalifa Oliver. But, before I get into the details, let me first introduce you to Dr. Kalifa Oliver, employee experience coach and speaker, soon to publish her first book and launch her podcast where she dives into how large tech companies can create meaningful experiences for their employees.

Meet Kalifa

Truly, I have never met a more grounded & powerful woman than @drkalifao. We started working together a few months ago when she stumbled across my work on Google. We met in person for a discovery call and  hit it off immediately. She hired me for a whole brand revamp from her strategy, to her branding to template design, production design, and brand photoshoots to top it all off.

Dr. Kalifa is an executive & employee experience coach for large tech companies and she often finds herself as one of the few people that look and speak like her in the tech industry.

When we went through my 1:1 Brand Strategy Workshop at the start of this made-to-order brand project, one of the most inspiring things that kept coming up was the word AND.

Kalifa wanted her brand to be represented in a way that allows her to be an incredibly brilliant, educated black woman AND a wife AND a mother of three AND a tough love giver AND funny as heck AND and a successful immigrant with family still in Trinidad AND an educator AND involved in her community AND unapologetically her in an industry that tends to categorize people very quickly.

I’m so excited we’ve ticked all of the boxes so far and we’ve got so much more in store for Dr. Kalifa and all of the incredible ways she is a blessing to her industry and everyone she meets. I’m obsessed & insanely honored to do her justice. Now… onto the visual details.
